"We accept the love we think we deserve"

The quote written above from the movie and book 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower" speaks many truths. I used to not really understand what it meant, but know it's clear as day.

Most of us want to find true and real genuine love and we search for it forever. We always pass right by the amazing guys because we are looking too hard. We, women always end up falling for the men that don't treat us right and don't really care about us. I guess it's also a case of 'we want what we can't have'. But it's more of a case of not seeing the value we have and accepting a love that isn't real.

I wish I could tell every girl to do this but that's not possible. Just to keep the people that treat you with respect and keep the men that look at you and see a beautiful, amazing girl and are always there for you, by your side. There are guys like this, we just always seem to pass by them. It's always the case that we fall for the insanely beautiful guy that probably likes a lot more girls than just you and is never really at your side supporting you. It's almost like these guys are just making you fall in love with them so they can get the satisfaction.

Please, if any of you are feeling this go watch Mathew Hussey on Youtube, he's amazing.

Any comments on why girls do this and how to stop falling for the wrong people?

Beautiful creatures-review

I just finished watching Beautiful Creatures. It was absolutely amazing, very confusing, but great. It was definitely different than what I've watched before. I thought the actors all did such amazing jobs, I was truly convinced. I also loved the 'true love' aspect of the movie. Truly inspiring, it really showed true and real love, not the fake love in today's society. Maybe that is one of the ups for main character 'Ethan Wate' living in such a small town, that he can escape mainstream society and experience real love like he did. Overall this movie was such a cool and twisted look at love and sacrifice.

Person of the week: Saoirse Ronan

I have chosen Saoirse Ronan as my person of the week this week! She, as you may know, is the star of the new sci-fi movie The Host. I just finished watching the movie, which was insanely amazing. She did an amazing job at the character, and it was impressive that she did her own stunts.

A little info for you...
Saoirse is an Irish actress who was born in New York City but moved to Ireland at age 3. She was born April 12, 1994. So she's 19.

She has stared in other movies like The Lovely Bones and Hanna.

Here's a pic of a scene in The Host.

Saoirse played a very complicated character in a very complicated movie. Earth had been taken over by an Alien race that inhabited human's bodies. Saoirse played a character named Melanie Stryder who was one of the last humans on Earth. Eventually she was caught. An Alien named Wanderer was placed inside her and she convinced the Alien to be on her side and fight for her family to live. In the end, the human race became friends with the Alien race and shared the planet.

The movie was an amazing struggle for Wanderer to feel, see and live the way a human would.

I rate this movie 10/10, because I can't find anything wrong with it.

RIP Cory Monteith

Its truly tragic, Cory was an amazing person with so much to offer the world. His performances on Glee were exceptional. I hope Cory is peaceful now, but this is truly saddening.

Your amazing my fellow Canadian.

Always remember Cory Monteith. (May 11, 1982-July 13 2013)
